i do not agree.
I speak to you from the perspective we live in. I remember you, you used to call yourself Jezzi Pitts. I remember all of the originals. It’s hard to keep track of the newer fans unless they talk to me everyday but still you have left an impact for being who you were when you were around.
What you have to understand is - it’s easy to meet everyone when there are 50-100 kids waiting out back after a show. (assuming they dont have to be shipped off somewhere immediately after to make the next show and they are all in good health) Now that it has go to the point of 300-400 kids who feel like they won’t go to a show unless they can personally shake hands and have 6 pictures with each of the members … it’s a certain sense of elitist entitlement that makes people NOT want to go out of their way. It’s also a safety issue - Remember when they didn’t have security and their personal belongings and hair got pulled at and stolen? It’s no wonder there has to be barricades and protection.
When i was younger, I was THRILLED to see the MUSIC. It was an added bonus if the band came out but we never EXPECTED it. You guys forget, they are musicians. They play MUSIC and that’s the reason why they are here. They are just PEOPLE. like you, and me. Sometimes a lot of you expect way too much - when they’ve already given it all that they’ve got on stage… they become tired from being up at the crack of dawn running around doing press and being pulled in every direction - and on top of that - deal with being away from loved ones, personal issues, health issues, mood swings etc. They give all that they have to you on stage, thats what you are there for, that’s what they are there for . Everything else is a bonus… Twitter, Facebook etc NONE of this stuff was around when i was younger, NONE of the bands I loved were accessible. I feel twitter and Facebook have ruined the mystery and just given ids this sort of sense that they are more important than the next person… and everyone should know who they are.

Personal lives shouldn’t be a factor of whether or not you have respect for the music.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA the volume of bullshit that is said about every single one of them and their significant others DAILY, HOURLY, by the minute. It’s the same type of shit you all get thrown at you in school… And the same type of shit this band stands up against.These guys don’t work for disney, they are not there to tuck you in at night and sing you a lullaby. They are there to play rock and roll. Rock and roll is about MUSIC. and what comes with that lifestyle? SEX. Sex Appeal … we all express it in one way or another.. and the whole stint about “i don’t have respect for this person because they took a raunchy photo, or they used a naughty word” is something i would expect to hear from the disney channel. Rock n roll is raunchy. It’s Raw. It’s LOUD. It’s expression.
Give them a break, they do what they are there to do, MUSIC. and they do a damn good job doing it.

I told my friend of 10 years this and it helped her stop cutting/self infliction, for good.
Cutting only transfers the pain to your body. Cutting takes the pain from your mind and your thoughts and memories and puts them directly on your body. I know that it helps you right now sweetie but you need understand one thing from me. Cutting only gets rid of the pain temporarily and thats why you go back to it. If it was a forever fix, it would happen once and it would be over with forever.
But its not that at all. Its really really hard to get out of but if you learn to stop youll soon realize that its not needed, I promise.
Transferring pain from one place to another is useless and its only going to hurt you more. You are a beautiful human being, I promise you.
I believe in you and I believe that if you think about what I’ve told you, that you will be strong enough to quit. That is why you should quit.
You will be a success, and you will matter in life. You aren’t worthless and you aren’t stuck in the past. You are a unique, one of a kind girl that doesn’t need to inflict pain to herself. You can do it, I know it.
I love all of you and I want you to know you aren’t alone in this world.

So in September my dog (Gracie) got hit by a truck while I was at school. Both of her back legs were broken and they couldn’t fix her so we had to put her to sleep. I came home and my mom told me. I cried for the rest of the day. I thought about cutting but I was scared my mom would see it and send me to therapy again. She would have been 4 years old in October. The thing that bothers me the most is that I never got to say goodbye. She was the only one I could talk to about anything and not get judged. But now she’s gone and I miss her so much. </3 I still think about cutting because I can’t stand living without her. She meant everything to me. I just don’t know what to do.
